What are some body parts of the tiger?
Tail: Helps maintain balance when making sharp turns, mood to.
Muscles: Super strength! Helps tiger bring down prey. Cubs use this for jumping and playing. Sumatran tigers can jump 33 ft. in one leap!
Camouflage: The tiger's stripes help the tiger blend in with it is suroundings. Most tigers have more than 100 stripes. Every tiger has a diffrent pattern of stripes.
Claws: To get good grips. Used to climb and kill prey. They have a extra claw called a declaw that is useful for climbing and gripping.
Teeth: Used for ripping apart food and killing prey.

When humans think of tigers, you think of danger, strong jaws, sharp teeth, beautiful fur, long sharp claws, and these massive tigers on the prowl. Humans also think of us in the dark jungle, waiting to leap out at you. We can be feared but also admired. All of us tigers have that in common. We Sumatran tigers have all of those features, but are found in the area of Sumatra. Sumatra is found in Indonesia, very close to the equator. We are smaller than other species of tigers. You know how cats HATE water? Not all cats dislike water, Sumatran tigers are very good swimmers. People are cutting down their habitat for toilet paper! Some toilet paper and tissues are made from responsible resources, some others aren’t. Paseo is the fastest growing brand of toilet paper in the U.S. Don’t use Paseo! It is created from Sumatra trees, so if you are using that you are killing the Sumatran tiger’s habitat!
